Viprinet uses a client-server architecture with two parts: the Viprinet Router, located at the remote site, and the Viprinet Hub-server (owned or rented), which resides at a data center or other secure premises. Each Viprinet Hub-server handles multiple Viprinet routers simultaneously. You can bond up to 6 connections using one Viprinet Router, and hundreds if stacking multiple routers.

The Viprinet Router and Viprinet Hub-server communicate along an encrypted VPN tunnel. 

  • Using each connection available in the bonding scenario, a Viprinet Router establishes an encrypted VPN tunnel to a Viprinet Hub-server.
  • The VPN tunnels are bundled into one bonded "channel" through which the data is transferred.
  • The Viprinet Hub-server acts like an exchange: it provides fast, secure communication between multiple Viprinet Routers and between the secure VPN and public or private networks.

The VPN Router and Viprinet Hub-server monitor the quality of the connections/WANs in each direction, altering throughput to maximize available bandwidth.
